One of the problems with liberals is they take each other too seriously. A sense of humor would be nice.

I'd say that's a problem with ideologues across the board. For every uptight humorless obnoxious liberal, there's an uptight humorless obnoxious conservative counterpart. Both of them think everything they say is right and that the people on the other side are totally wrong and can't possibly have a reasonable point. Both of them sit on a high horse with their nose in the sky, convinced that they alone are the hope of the nation. Both of them are, in a word, assholes.

The problem is not with either end of the political spectrum. The problem lies with people, of whatever persuasion, who think themselves too good for compromise and flexibility.

I gotta admit Kilborn was funny when he co-anchored Sportscenter on ESPN. His sidekicks didn't know what to make of him.

Let's see if I'm following your logic here, Bill:

It's an outrage for Baldwin and Killborn to call for the killing of people but it's funny when you right wingers call for shooting Democrats?

BTW, I wasn't involved in these political threads at that point, wasn't aware of those things happening. Of course I'd condemn them. What would ever lead you to believe that I would feel otherwise?
