GV,
so what do you make of this? the man sold <3% of his holdings. How old is Mr. Rock? Must be in his late 60's or early 70's. Maybe he has some estate planning in mind, or a charity, or a big-ass boat?

You can't take it with you ya know.

Over the last two weeks of July, Art Rock sold 400,000 shares of Intel, almost all of it between $29 and $30.
While this is only a small portion of his 17mm+ shareholdings, in the past he has sold Intel very rarely. I'm not totally positive about this, but I think that his previous 2 sells were in 1998 (at a split adjusted price in the low 20's) and in 1989.

He's also a very old man. Perhaps it's time to start settling his affairs. It was his Charitable Remainder Trust
that did the selling.
