Tip, IT has also made us a paperless society. I only kill about 30 trees a day now vs. the 5 I used to kill on my non-automated job in 1975. <G>

Speaking of Christians. When I lived in Dallas, I used to attend a Lunch Bible Study group for professionals. There were 50 people, about 40 of whom were stockbrokers. I was the only person there who was a buy side trader. I used to walk out with business cards in my shoes and my underwear and I even had to shampoo once a month to get them out of my hair. <g>

My buddy who took me there, who is also a broker, made the comment, "wow, they treated you like fresh meat. I don't think that's a very Christian way to act." My comment was that Christians who don't have manna delivered directly to their door still have to earn a living. Of course, he didn't like all of his friends "poaching" on his account, but I felt that there was commissions enough for everyone. But there are plenty of Christians who are brokers. Some sincere. Others who consider it a networking opportunity.

It reminds me of the folks who buy cars from church friends and put the fish on the back of it. Somebody once asked me what the fish signified and I said, "I bought this car from somebody in my church and paid too much." <g>
