Yes, but for 50-75 cents on the dollar from current prices.

The US consumer is savings-short, overly indebted, and wealth depleated, and is about to get hit with
a double whammy of layoffs & reduced flexible compensation (year end bonuses and such)
I can't even begin to tell you how many people I know that have borrowed 100% or more
of the equity in their homes. It's a bubble made by easy money, it will pop.

My Dad used to tell me that back in the days before inflation, you never, ever made money
by selling your home, you might break even, but you would not see a 100% 5 year gain like we do today.
REIT's are starting to show profit drops.
