Hey George !
Even MU had a channel buy yesterday.
But it's up channel isn't the greatest(g)

You may be right in your bearish long term view,
but why not make 10% on the Q's short term during this
up channel?

George:

by touting chip stocks, they can help both their clients and their own bottom line

I have been seeing lower spot market pricing for DRAM chips even today. So I just couldn't resist selling Sep 40 MU calls for $1.7. The prices that MU is getting for memory DIMMs, $13.5 for 128 MB and $24 for 256 MB, are 10% less than last week. I talked to crucial rep last week and they are pretty desperate characters there in ID.
