I planned on the need to defend my actions in starting a new thread on a new bulletin board. No, I was never referring to 'other SI members' directly and have read very little on SI at all. As I have used this same name on different boards, if one is interested, they could do some research. You may be right in that an intelligent investor should be able to weed out the spin..and come up with an accurate analysis...in forming an accurate picture of a company. Why go it alone if you can garner the help of intelligent people? I am admittedly not that intelligent and I would like the help of others. Sure there is some truth to the statement IR will spin, but will they commit fraud? For instance, looking at the 10 K I was hard pressed to find the 446 million figure, less the 75 million long term debt that Knowles talked about as the amount of liquid cash and short term investments. Do I think IR is actively lying about cash on hand? No, but there must be something I'm missing. To this end, I'll publish what information I can, and leave it to the collective 'others' to add insight and meaning. I certainly don't have that kind of knowledge base to go it alone. The difference between 446 and 263.8 million is very significant, in my mind, for a company with the kind of capitalization that INSP currently has. Thanks for the response, not sure what your last two lines are implying.
