11:33 ET AOL Time Warner (AOL) 41.05 -1.94: -- Update -- Stock down sharply over the past hour; hearing various trading floor rumors:, one is that the company is calling around to analysts and talking down numbers, the other is that AOL might bid for AT&T Broadband. Given that Reg FD was supposed to end the former and the latter was reported by the Wall St Journal yesterday, this talk appears to be a reaction to the sell-off rather than the cause of it.
11:31 ET IBM (IBM) 106.09 +0.23 (+0.2%): -- Update -- Sources at Salomon Smith Barney telling us that firm would be a buyer on any weakness caused by the 10-Q filing.
