There's something a little unsettling about MS rushing and getting an operating system out
early. Given the history of bugs with some of their previous past due OS's....makes me
want to stand aside and watch while others road test the final release.

Smart man. I have a firm standing policy never to buy a Microsoft product until at least one and preferably two maintenance releases have come out. I don't think they've ever released product without major bugs in it.

Dennis

Good thinking,I've tried twice installing Windows XP RC1 and RC2 and both times have uninstalled same.

I just found the system user unfriendly and cumbersome.

Many seem to like it so I guess that after the final release and obligatory bug fixes, service packs, etc a consensus will be drawn.

Of course this is coming from a guy that luvs Windows ME.

Cheers
