Skeets, I think the problem with our systems is that they were put together at different times at different firms by different people and each is o.k. in a stand alone way. Unfortunately, they don't stand alone. Something as simple as entering a social security number is done 4 different ways. On one form, it automatically tabs from the first three digits, to the two, to the four. On the next, you have to hit the tab button. On the third form, you have to put in one unbroken stream of numbers. And on the fourth form, you have to add dashes. Little stuff, but incredibly inefficient.

I joke that opening an account takes me 4 hours, but, that is pretty close to the truth between doing the paperwork, getting it mailed and approved and then correcting all of my mistakes. Some of the mistakes are due to there being a rule that is contra-intuitive and not written anywhere. But, as I learn the tricks, I don't make the same mistake again. I make a new one. <g>
