JRI: Re: "If there is a possibility of bounce on AMAT, isn't it a bit dicey betting on an overall market let-down over next few days (according to the logic), for many will be keying off of AMAT's action, no?"

I see too many people worried about AMAT. Bronson already gave guidance at Semicon West. It sucked. Market faded it already to $50 a share recently. Now it is selling off again before the release. But market could not sell it off to a lower low of mid July when guidance came out even last week when we got a lower low in the Nasdaq. So it will have to be really bad news to take it down more.

Game has been set IMO pre FOMC and pre options. I don't see a sell off this week. I see sideways with a spike up here and there. IMO, there is not enough exuberance in this market to fade at this time.
