The fact is they are going into a Major product cycle, in which the ramp is procceding much faster then expected. The rush to buy their new 1xrt chip is a neccesity by carrier's not a luxury. These chips enable carrier's to increase capacity2-3X without any major infastructure upgrades, or new towers. So it is really a NO-brainer for cash strapped wireless telecolm's. They are also about to intro 3 Mode chips that nobody is close to matching. They will be able to sustain a reasonable growth rate for the next 12-18 months do to these upgrades. Also These chips will provide 144 BPS access on laptop wireless modems, something that will create a DATA market where there is really none. I cant justify buying it here at this price, but I sure cant justify selling it short either. especially when there so many Bloated DOW stocks. Also Qcom has currency exposure, that benifits itself in the Korean MKT if the dollar declines against YOUN. As for last quarter they grew a tad.
