Uh, Agustus, Re: I don't apologize for the industry. Address the needs with supply and you'll fix the problem. The contemporary situation is that there's a surplus of power in the California market. Your comment seems already overtaken by events. The problem was market power, caused by an insane law demanding spot and day-ahead market purchases. The solution was long term contracts. Which the marketers resisted tooth and nail and only relented when the State sweetened the deal to seemingly high long term rates. Which now the industry bashes the State for accepting. Dealing with these power marketers is like getting into a pit of scorpions. You never know how they're gonna want to try to sting you, but you're absolutely certain that they will, every chance they get. R. :)
