I closed out my short positions today and went long the OEX -- wish me luck. AMAT seems poised to put a floor under semis in the morning -- if others cover in the morning, we could get a short-covering rally that lasts the whole day -- imagine that!

HJ: I think the street will use the AMAT numbers to scare the crap out of the shorts in the morning.
