We (I? although I think I understand Steven well enough to include him in this) don't disparage your faith (or any of the other hundreds of faiths). If you were trying to convince us you could prove your faith we might argue with you (and privately think you were very illogical and silly) but I do not believe our issue is with faith. It is with some of the faithful. edit- but you probably knew that already

t's funny, it doesn't bother me when X or Solon, or Steve, or anyone else who is agnostic or an atheist talks disparagingly about religion. It doesn't bother me, either. I just think it's amusing that X talks so stirringly about how much she believes in tolerance and hates intolerant people, when she is, at least about religion, one of the most intolerant people you could ever come across. Solon and Steve don't parade their claimed belief in tolerance so publicly, though I expect they see themselves as highly tolerant also, but they, too, are intolerant bigots about religion. Very strange how a person can claim to be tolerant about deviant lifestyles or political beliefs but so intolerant about religion. Explains, though, much about the Middle East.
