Everything was so overwrought, I decided to wait until it calmed down to express an opinion. Since you laid out the sequence very well, I can now say that I thought it was dopey to make anything out of the exchange, that it was actually clever rather than tasteless, within context, and that the clucking was, itself, distasteful, as no one seemed interested in the whole context of the exchange, even though a couple of people tried to point it out........
