Intermediate Term bottom confirmed in OS & NG stocks today.

By my read the rally:

1. Will be the best oil, oil service and NG stock rally ytd,

AND

2. Has a good chance of continuing well into September.

3. No firm target, but 118 OSX wouldn't surprise me.

Hope you guys were buying this sector today. I was!<G> Near the close estab good size positions in PDS @ 27.49 and CRZO @ 5.56.

Big move in one day, so we may get a little pause tomorrow before they "bring em back on" again<g> Hope so, got 1 or 2 others that look like good money makers.

Longer Term? No change. This is a Bear Market rally in the OS and NG sectors. So be careful out there.

Also no change in my bullish attitude toward the gold stocks. Ready to aggressively add on any good dips there.

Something that I've seen almost nobody talk about is both the gold and patch plays rallying together or passing the baton back and forth as each climbs the stairs to higher prices in the weeks ahead.

To the thread in general: Know there're some folks who don't believe it's possible to make market calls beyond a few days. Basically I just do it (have been for many years) and I don't worry about whether it's possible or not.<G> I've been doing this for a living since 1986 and have a family to support.

Also from a practical standpoint, since I only make 2 maybe 3 major calls a year vs 1 or 2 per week by ST folks. If somebody started monitoring my sector calls in real time since I joined this thread it would take 5 -6 years for the minimum number of events to have occurred!

In the meantime, just continuing to follow only my own work, support my family, and let each person draw their own conclusions as the months drop off the calendar.

Beautiful day to spend time outdoors in cen Ohio today! Best day of the summer so far.

Cheers,

Iso
