Chez Panisse is good, but their menu can be a bit strange as well. I think I posted a review of the time I went and the featured course was goat's leg. The next time, the soup was squab essence, or some such nonsense better left un-imagined. Unfortunately for me, I have a vivid imagination and none of the possibilities that came to mind assisted in recovering my appetite.

OMG, now that's a debacle. One for which you had the privelege of paying beaucoup bucks, as is generally the case...

I love blue cheese, just so you know, and could imagine sprinkling a wee bit on crispy potato latkes, but the apricot thing eludes me.

My daughters loved Legally Blonde, BTW, and are already twisting my arm to take them to see it this weekend. Reese Witherspoon is a sparkly little gamine.
