Tommaso and FAX

Tommaso here my view on Fax.

1. Some of their distribution is a return of capital, and the price of the shares has come down in price over the years
2. The stock is very sensitive to Aussie dollar Vs US dollar.
3. During the Asia crisis they bought high yield bonds from the countries that had problems. This gave the fund a new life, but there was risk in this play. So consider this a above average risk
4. If you believe that the Aussie dollar will go up this can be an nice play Also look at IAF
5. Some tax benefits here .
6. The low portfolio turn over tell me they are not trading much, maybe not enough to support dividend.
7. I have traded this stock for a year and pick up a nice dividend plus some small cap. Gains. Never loss a penny on the trades.
8. At present stock looks as if it peaked.
9. The Aussie dollar is at .52 and may go to .60 in the next two years.
10. The fund can leverage itself by using convertible Preferred stock
11. Fund has recently changed ownership
