Actually no. I was really talking about China. I have been there, and China interests me. But I find them very scary- because I would really really never want to live there. That level of scrutiny and fitting in reminds me of the 50's here- only about twice as repressive. Maybe 3 times. Or maybe I don't understand what pulling a JLA is. I am sorry to be unfamiliar with that. But I really don't know what that means. All I remember of JLA are throw away one of two line insults. I'm sure he does something more occasionally, and I may have even read something more from him, but my overwhelming impression is of one liners, insulting one liners. And I really can't see how my post about China squares with that, But I have no doubt you will explain.
