Ed, I find that incredibly interesting. The U.S. devaluation against the Canuck buck + a bull run on gold?

Canadian and Australian dollars were also appreciating against the U.S. dollar.

I'm sure the reason is the commodity connection of both currencies, but I'm not going to hold my breath here. It seems commodities (other than oil) are becoming cheaper by the day.
