Dear Tim: To me, abortion is a moral and religious issue. I too am a Republican but if I had my druthers, I would druther have the govt stay out of issues like this. Next thing you know Govt MIGHT do like China is doing, if a woman has a child and becomes pregnant they abort AND sterilize her!!! Sounds incredible doesnt it? But, its all in the name of the good of the total ie population control. Sometimes though the ends does NOT justify the means. If govt wants to spend money I would rather see it done in preventative education, free birth control etc etc then in taking human life. JDN
