Perhaps you read too much but not able to appreciate planned obsolescence and replacement(changing from one style to another). Bikini underwear for men is very popular. I use it. Your banker's idea of selling off or distributing(privatizing) large block of stocks is strictly due to lack of experience. Large stockholders always have problems to dispose off their stock; try to talk to some market makers or specialists and they will set you straight. People do not lose money willingly, and many don't in the long run. You are too willing to lose money, your employer probably would like you to have a haircut.
