It's also a species that can believe this perfectly still day in house built on solid rock with the sun going up on one side of my house and going down on the other, and nothing remotely the size of this place we live in sight, is actually of a cosmically tiny hunk of minerals with a liquid core and plates floating around on melted rock which is not standing still but is racing around the sun at hundreds or thousands of miles an hour and spinning as it goes but not sending any of us flying off by centrifugal force and not causing any wind despite all its frantic racing and spinning. To say nothing of the allegation that 99.9% of the rock I'm standing on is actually empty and all I'm really standing on is microscopically minute things held together by electrical or chemical charges with virtually no actual substance there at all.

For anybody who can believe that, virgin birth is a triviality.
