MORE PESSIVE BUT DEFENSIVE ATTITUDE IN THE CALL. 6. GUIDANCE DON'T MATCH KEY SEGMENTED QUESTIONS. THE CONFERENCE CALL WAS A MOCK TO THE INTELLIGENT FINANCIAL COMUNITY. BASICALLY THE AMAT MANAGEMENT THINKS THAT IF THEY JUST LEAVE THE QUESTIONS UNANSWERED OR ANSWERS IN THE AIR THEN THE STOCK WON'T DROP WELL THAT MIGHT BE TRUE BUT THAT WILL NOT RING UP EARNINGS. NOR CUT DOWN THE ONE TIME CHARGES THAT ARE A FASHION NOW A DAYS. This was stolen from YAHOO so it could be a hoot! It's one of those reader beware thangs. :-) .....dealie
