in that this cold blooded scumbag was a top student in his class, I see no reason not to consider that he had the reasoning ability of an adult at the age of 17.

Arguing the kid issue on this guy is retarded

He was a top athlete at Grapeland High School and senior
class president. He had no criminal record or history of
disciplinary problems in school.

But this is what he did.

According to authorities, Mr. Beazley set out to steal a luxury car in April 1994. He and two friends
spotted a 1987 Mercedes-Benz driven by Tyler resident John Luttig, who was returning from Dallas
with his wife, Bobbie Luttig.

After the Luttigs arrived home, authorities said, Mr. Beazley and his two friends, brothers Cedric
and Donald Coleman, tried to steal the car at gunpoint.

"Beazley fired one round from his pistol, hitting Mr. Luttig in the side of the head, leaving
him alive, but stunned. ... Beazley next ran around the car where Mrs. Luttig was getting out
of the vehicle and fired at her at very close range," a statement from Texas Attorney General
John Cornyn's office recounted. "Although he missed her, she fell to the ground. Beazley
then returned to Mr. Luttig, raised his gun, took careful aim, and fired point blank into Mr.
Luttig's head."

Amnesty International opposes the death penalty in all cases as a violation of the right to life and the right not to be subjected to cruel, inhuman or degrading punishment.

That's why it blows my mind CG that you guys deny that same right to the unborn. They're completely innocent and in the opinion of a lot of liberals on this board it's OK to terminate their lives. Where's the consistency in your argument?

Have a good one.
