"All" MSFT did was repackage basic applications of chips. Operating systems, word processors, spreadsheets, and databases all existed before. So I wanted to leave the question pretty open. Presumably if the end user sees enough benefit, he will shower dollars on the head of the person providing that benefit. Katherine
