I think the highest we've tracked this index was around 92%.
We are getting close.
Is it my imagination or does the market usually go up (at least for a day) after this index begins to reach high extremes like this?

Anyhow, they were buying CSCO and capitulating with MFNX (was their top sold at 2.17%) as it went from an intraday high on Tues. of $1.20 to yesterday's close of 70 cents. A year and a half ago they were at $50.
Ouch.
Another Gilder Stock...
I could have been rich if I had only used his list as short candidates.
Pretty much everything on that list was bought because of the hype.
I wonder how many subscribers he lost.
Now that would make a good indicator to follow. Track his subscribership...
He must have been riding high for a while there.
He was a smart dude.
Used his excellent writing ability to lure in thousands of tech junkies looking to buy what ever stock he barely mentioned in his newsletters.
I should know. I was one of those tech junkies. I could not learn enough about how the stuff worked and who had the edge...
All of this knowlege is good for what? Maybe it will help me to spot future bubbles...
Sure wish I had this 20/20 vision 1 1/2 years ago... I could have retired early. <g>
