IBM might be only the first OEM to "back away" from AMD due to the
costs associated with supporting the two different processors.
If this occurs, AMD will be back in "single digits" (TM StockMan).

"Advanced Micro Devices (NYSE: AMD - news) gave up nearly 4.39 percent,
after being down as much as 7 percent. It is still reeling from IBM's notice
that it would stop using AMD chips in most of its computers."


Looks like this "old news" just hasn't been factored in yet ... This
actually gives AMD "negative potential". <ggg>
