Unfortunately, Rambus has a lot of great pearls of technology, but that's not what's driving the stock," he says. "The lawsuits may go on for years, and that goes beyond the time horizons of most investors."

Lawyers, Guns and Money

By Warren Zevon

I went home with the waitress
The way I always do
How was I to know
She was with the Russians, too

I was gambling in Havana
I took a little risk
Send lawyers, guns and money
Dad, get me out of this, ha

I'm the innocent bystander
But somehow I got stuck
Between a rock and a hard place
And I'm down on my luck
Yes, I'm down on my luck
Well, I'm down on my luck

Now I'm hiding in Honduras
I'm a desperate man
Send lawyers, guns and money
The shit has hit the fan

Send lawyers, guns and money {4X}

Question....how would a small shareholder like myself profit from these lawsuits? I bought hundreds and hundreds of shares at $100, as well as a boatload of leaps. Needless to say, RMBS was a serious bath for me last year. I ended up selling the stock at $28, but took a 100% loss on the leaps. Huge losses.........do I need to join one of these lawsuits, or as a shareholder, will I be entitled to my .000001 on the dollar we may get back <ggg>....by doing nothing?

I'd say pick one or more of Don Green's press releases, click on a link to one of the law firms and ask them the same questions by e-mail. It sounds to me as though it would be worth your while and its quite likely that you will have to provide some sort of trading records/confirmations to collect although you'll probably be in the class and eligible to collect just by doing nothing. But I assume you know you shouldn't rely on what you read here to for answers to any such questions.

Hi KG4; In about 3 months, your tight stop loss on your $8.50 purchase is going to look very, very, very wise.

As far as recouping your other losses, the best you can hope for is about 14 cents on the dollar. To get that, they'd have to empty the pockets of the insiders, and you'd have to hope that not too many of the sheep apply for relief.

You don't need to join these lawsuits, they'll send you some paperwork later.

Your leaps won't get you anything.

To truly understand how management lied and schemed to create this fiasco, you have to read through the complaint here:
