Well, I'd like to add more NTAP stock and/or LEAPS.....anybody care to take a stab at a low for the next few months....do we get below $10....below $7.........do we never reach $10 again??....all opinions welcome and appreciated.

My AOL 03 leaps ARE GETTING CREAMED!!! I sure hope we get some kind of recovery by mid next year........

re: analyst EPS estimate cuts:

Cutting 2001 estimates (they must be talking about CY, not FY) is probably meaningless, as everyone has about written off the nearterm (=next 6 months). But cutting CY02 estimates will hurt the stock. Notice, the justification for the EPS cuts is entirely based on a macro call "tied to an economic recovery, which we expect to be shallow and gradual".

Probably the best time to buy the stock is when the number of EPS estimate cuts by analysts is at a maximum. That is, when the volume of negative noise is loudest. My guess is, that happens sometime between now and the end of 2001. So, I have the next 4 1/2 months to establish my position.
