Neo-- In response to your asking why someone would want to "imply" something negative when there is no way to prove it, I have to say that reading CH's "implications" about X's teaching and character as I caught up on yesterday's posts this morning left me amazed and asking that same question. The sheer hurtfulness of what was said is a far cry from attacking general beliefs or specific opinions. The things that were posted about X weren't about issues or opinions; they were meant to hurt a person. For what it's worth, I have met X and her family, and have known her for five years. She IS an attorney and she IS now a teacher, one whom I wish had been teaching when my boys were younger. The pack attack mentality that I saw yesterday among certain people here reminded me why I left this thread before and why I now leave again. Penni
