Paul, RE: A lot of folks - especially the Wall Street ANALdips - look out a few months - and they fail to see Intel's burgeoning processor portfolio, growing manufacturing might, and the concerted effort to break into new areas such as communications and PDAs, etc.

I don't blame the analysts. They're salespeople, and their customers don't care for the most part about things 3 to 5 years hence.

That goes for both institutional and individual investors. Institutional investors have gotten so out of control that they are demanding monthly performance statistics. Individuals, as always, send the most money to the mutual fund that performed the best over the past year, not the past 3 years or 5 years.

>>On a 3 to 5 year perspective, who besides Intel can claim to have the products and factories to supply the core silicon for nearly every computer, server, hand held PDA and Cell Phone to be manufactured?

well said!
