In the meantime, there may be significant risk as investors want to "see the money" (i.e see Windows XP) as opposed to being promised the money at some future point!

Don't be so sure XP will save AMD

Novell certified Palamino and the 760MP for Servers, so why has not MicroSoft done the same? Intel has powerful friends at MicroSoft. Intel's managed to keep AMD out of Dell, and get them kicked from IBM. Who knows what dirty dealings are going on over at MicroSoft...
