I am not saying that amd is not hurting - can not ignore obvious. Whatever intel would gain from amd is not sufficient to offset lower demand if that is the case. Yes, amd's losses would be higher per share but market got used to amd in the red. Tell me what would happened if intel would drive itself to red?
As far exposure then it is very unclear how amd could loose much from oems if they would loose gateway with ~100K/quarter and ibm not much more than that.
