I don't think so. Our resident visionaries such as Jimbo and Dan have already concluded it's a bad design. After all, if the very first version isn't perfect then no further improvements are possible, right? A total failure because it doesn't run very fast on Dan's world standard 6 year old x87 Pi calculator. Gotta get to P8...

Maybe they are adding the extra floating point unit that was removed because of die size limitations from the current P4
