did you catch this article today

LOL. I've had that article open in another browser window for hours now and can't seem to get back to it. SI is active today.

How we best respect life is one of the great debates of our day. There are those who think that keeping technical life going from fertilization to natural death is what it's about. I'm glad to be seeing some discussion at least around the edges.

Now that I've finally read the article, it's a good one. Lays out the particulars very clearly but briefly. I've clipped it for future reference.

Bush is here (Colorado) doing his "Home to the Heartland" tour. His picture is on the front page of the Denver Post taking a hack saw to a tree limb in Rocky Mountain National Park. Poorly advised photo op if you ask me. He was helping a forest maintenance crew of some sort, no prob...but why would you pick that visual image for the news, especially considering the criticisms on his environmental policy.

Next, he is on his way to Albuquerque to speak on Education.
