That's no surprise. History has shown that AMD's processors always favored older benchmarks of that time while Intel's always favored newer benchmarks. This has held true for K6 vs. Pentium MMX, K6-2 vs. Pentium II, Athlon vs. Pentium III, and now Palomino vs. Pentium 4.
