I suggest that we finally recognize that this exploitive capitalism was a BIG mistake. Let's shut down the internet and rebuild all the livery stables. Go back to treating patients with sulfur drugs (anti-biotics were developed by private drug companies), and take away everyone's car. Food will now be bland, consisting mostly of whatever comes into season locally, and expensive, because the farmers outside of town have a right to our money. Oh, and learn how to cook-they tend to only sell commodities.

Don't worry about all the stuff Walmart use to sell dirt cheap. You aren't supposed to need shampoo, detergent, or deodorant anyway.

With this reversal, we must also dial the armed forces back to 1865 also. Instead of smart bombs and the like, millions of us can all get drafted and fight endless battles in trenches.

And with this reversal of development we will also get rid a lot of modern pollution. Forget the fact that sewage in the streets, disease spread by flys, and influenza and polio use to kill us all faster, the air-though having a bit too much horseshit-won't have any carbon mo.

In exchange, of course, we expect to get back the government and tax code we had in the late 19th century. Only we will be smarter now, and not let it get any bigger or more intrusive than that. The unions can go out of business right away, and we'll use the army to keep them down, just like back then.

And actually, it might be a good trade. But I think I'll stop off a Walmart tonight and stock up on a few things before the conversion. No sense letting "Mom and Pop" pick my pocket any more than I have to...
