I don't know why people bitch about cattle when once upon a time there were 60 million buffalo eating grass and doing basically the same thing. I saw an area on the weekend that contains buffalo and they also keep the trees trimmed to about shoulder height keeping the area groomed just like a park. The tinder around the base of the trees composed of tree material and dead grass just blows away when there are no branches to hold it in.
