I unlike you don't need a party machine to tell me anything. In fact I don't like major parties at all. I think they dominate way too much and get in the way of democracy. Especially with the soft money rules the way they are. No one else has a chance. You're either part of the machine or you're out. I think that stinks. That's why I admire people like Jeffords and McCain who march to their own drummer despite the party. And how does their party thank them? By attacking their character. When they are the ones with real character, not the corrupt party bosses and spinmeisters. Yes that's right. I think up all this stuff by myself from trying to soak up all facts and opinions I can. I owe myself truthfulness. Life is too short to swallow the spin and delude yourself. Sounds like you know you just lost the debate so have to try and minimize my thought process. As I've said before, challenge me with anything you think I've been wrong on and I'm willing to admit it if I got something wrong, just so long as you tell the whole story not just one angle. On party spin, I am also aware that this president and this party are the most spin-minded group I have ever seen in politics. What they are saying they're doing versus what they're really doing are two totally different things, and so far they have at least 45% of Americans buying it. I consider that a crime. I consider it a patriotic duty to help others see through the spin. Once they can consider the facts then they can make up their own minds. And public opinion will change these people, stop corruption and even the playing field. They all work for us in the end, remember that.
