Without reopening closed cans of worms, I should be clear with you that I don't consider those posts to be anything to be apologetic about. They were and are fair comment supported by a reasonable and rational view of the facts. You are, of course, free to disagree with my interpretation of the facts. Some people who have PM'd me agree with my view of X (indeed, some think it is quite subdued); others don't. But I'm entitled to my opinions. I don't think I mis-stated any facts, nor do I think my opinions are contradicted by the record.

If you want to pursue this in PMs, I will dissect each post and explain to you why and on what basis I think it was accurate and fair. But I don't think the thread as a whole wants to spend any more time on this.

Hello E,

Thank you for your fresh-eyed honesty in reading through that pile of swill. I'm angry at Chris, not only for the hurtful personal swipes he took at X, but by his twisting Rambi's words about X having been ganged up on. Brees is a nitwit, obviously, so most of us read his posts in such light, but the disappointment I have in Chris, and in other BR posters' apparent lack of understanding about the nature of fair play, is palpable.
