Only 5 NDX stocks were up today. Should get a retest of 1600. Rest of the market is pretty much a barbell act with plenty of new highs and new lows simultaneously.

don't think that way. It's destructive ... just take a breather if you've had a bad string. I've closed more than a couple shorts too early in my time -- a profit is a profit and taking a loss when you set a stop is fine, too.

Take a breather and try to put less emphasis on short term results, unless you are trying to be a trader -- if you are trying to be a trader, be clear about your targets and stop losses.
