THAT depends on what you by "consciousness." Do you mean awake and reacting to the world? Most everyone is conscious on that sense. And that can be objectively defined and measured? Do you mean thinking new, revolutionary thoughts? Almost no one meets that criteria. So whether what AS wrote makes sense depends on an interpretation of a definition. Frankly, it is probably not desirable to have many people operating in the second sense. There would be no society; we'd all be going off in different directions. And we've communicated before. You're actually capable of making sense. You just don't do it very often.
