way, way, totally outta there OT, re: hope not: I have several different personas. I have several different "masks", sets of rules, for different social settings. There is a different "me" for: 1. husband/father 2. doctor, and 3. investor. This last one has been created over the last 5 years, and is entirely an online persona. I don't really talk to anyone much about stocks, face to face. And this persona would be unrecognizable, to the people who see my other faces. My online pessimism and cynicism are strictly the way I approach investing. They wouldn't work, I couldn't function that way, in the face-to-face world, when I have my other masks on. Oh, there was also a 4th mask, my only persona when I was in my late-teens to mid-20s, the Student-Radical-Hippie-Artist. He's retired now, I suppose he still exists somewhere, but I very much doubt anyone will ever see him again. Anything's possible, though. Maybe, one of these years, I'll get my ears pierced, give up meat and money, find a commune in the mountains...........
