When I sent you the private message, it was in faith that you yourself wouldn't bring up the subject, but I suppose you couldn't resist, and just let Elmer's comment go unanswered. For what it's worth, I don't care about getting a last word in, but I certainly want to say my peace with you. Clearly, I would have no reason to go on about this if you were straight-forward, or if you brought up a good point, but so far your only stance has been, "Trust me: you're wrong." From my perspective, the data sheet still conflicts with your theory of how Thermal Design Point is measured, and however you measure it with your experience, you're still wrong when it comes to how Intel measures it. But I'll tell you what. If you want to restate your thesis, I'll respond in a courteous and respectful manner, and state why I may or may not agree with it. If things go well, we can progress from there. Or, your other option is to consider this the end, and pretend that you held fast to your resolve, thereby closing yourself off to the possibility of learning something you didn't know before. It really doesn't matter to me. As it stands, I think I'm absolutely correct, and I have no regrets. If you are so certain that you are right, I don't see why you wouldn't want to take me up on this. We can do it privately, if it makes you feel better. wanna_bmw
