CIEN guidance bites: 09:04 ET CIENA Corp (CIEN) 28.12: -- Update -- Stock plunging to fresh pre-market low after company offers 2002 revenue growth guidance of "early teens," which we would interpret as being somewhere south of 15%. This would be a far cry from the approx. 53% yr/yr revenue growth currently being forecast by analysts for 2002... Stock trading at $23.20.

Uh, scratch me off early bounce camp (I mean, at some point, we'll get some up, but no way I'm playing a bounce off of no support)...CIEN news is dreadful..
