There's no evidence that government does a better job of the last one than markets. As evidence to the contrary, a city MPLS city counsel member just resigned after getting caught taking bribes to keep inspectors away from restaurants. There's just no incentive to make people sick. And if it happens by accident or negligence, that's what torts are for. If it happens on purpose, that's what criminal law is for. or the regulation of markets to ensure standards of health or safety.........
