Ex, this will be my last post on this subject since I don't want to start a whole new thread. I agree with everything that you posted and think that the bubble would have deflated sooner or later. My point was that if you accept that as the premise, then you cannot blame Greenspan ANY MORE than you can blame the Clinton Justice Dept. You can make the case that EITHER (or other stuff) caused the bursting bubble but in reality it would have burst sooner or later anyway.

The logic of the matter is simply this......Daryll40 has a severe case of "Clinton Bashing Disease", This is not to be confused with, Rush Limbaugh Admiration Disease"...the symptoms are quite similar.... but the differential diagnosis is a little difficult. Cash contributions to either cause is usually considered the definitive diagnostic tool.
