<<Just too many people getting hurt.>>

You can say that again...There's no conviction in the market -- everyone's cutting their positions and running to the bank with what's left <G>...the old days of buying quality on the dips may be gone. I look for a rebound to start in the later part of Q4 and next year should look much better. Patience will be tested though...=)

Best Regards,

Scott

From a ComstockFunds piece on the real meaning behind the new WallStreetSpeak:

“There’s no visibility” — There’s plenty of visibility, but it’s too awful to mention.

“We’re profitable on a pro-forma basis” — That is, if you leave out our expenses.

“This stock is a good value” — The price-earnings ratio has fallen from 210 to 90.

“Orders are stabilizing” — We had none last month and none this month.

“We’ll rebound in six months” — If I keep saying that I’ve got to be right at some time.

I too am amazed at the severity of this cranage....and the length of time it is going on. If Only I could turn back the clock to December 1999.......thats when my personal portfolio was at it's peak....it's also when my beloved cat, skittles got cancer, and for 3 or 4 agonizing months, I didnt care or monitor my stocks......then when i finally got back in gear, I thought the carnage was over and it was time to buy......who ever would have thought that from 5200 down to 4200 would only be the beginning and that 1600 was on it's way....and maybe lower, as nazzy does not look healthy and we have october to worry about.........it's been a two year nightmare, and I seriously hope that a recovery happens in my lifetime and that I am in some stocks that will appreciate. It's also hard watching my wife pour a large monthly sum into her 401k, only to watch it get creamed, month after month after month.....I am hoping that what we are doing.....basically cost average buying monthly in her 401k, will pay off ten years from now....but right now, it's just a sickening feeling watching the carnage get worse and worse and worse.......$200 stocks now at $2.....absolutely amazing......
