A cheap shot with no supporting evidence.

Parenthetically, I find it odd that the ones who reject Darwin for religious reasons are also the first to embrace social Darwinism.

Equality, per se, is not a goal worth pursuing. What is more important is to increase the general standard of living, which is best produced through a substantially capitalist economy......

I never seen the conservative argument that wealth should remain in the hands of those who produced it.

Also I find it odd that anyone compares ones who reject Darwin for religious reasons are also the first to embrace social Darwinism.

It would seem that the failed attempts of creating a set of middlemen to spend others money on others has produced an ever increasing disparity in standards of living.

"Parenthetically, I find it odd that the ones who reject Darwin for religious reasons are also the first to embrace social Darwinism."

Your analogy is an interesting one and not without some problems. However, the point for the reverse case could be made as well, those who embrace Darwin's "Origin of the Species" and reject these concepts at a social level.
